It is made for scans. Pages that are already straight are left unchanged.
Is Straighten scans really free?

Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool runs in your browser, and the page’s security policy stops it from sending data to any other website. You can check this in your browser’s developer tools: no file is sent while you use it.
Is there a file size limit?
