Check it yourself
Open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab and run any tool. You’ll see no request carrying your document. Once the page has loaded, the tools keep working even with Wi-Fi switched off.

Do my files really stay on my device?
Yes, for every tool on this site. The processing code runs in your browser tab, and your PDF is never sent anywhere. You can confirm it in your browser’s Network tab, or by switching off your internet after the page loads.
What happens when I save a file to my library?
Only then is the file uploaded. It’s encrypted in transit and at rest, read by AI to create a title, description and tags, and placed in a folder. You can rename, move or delete it whenever you like.
Is my library used to train AI models?
No. Your documents are used only to organise and search your own library.
How large can a PDF be?
It depends on your device’s memory, not on us. Most computers handle files of several hundred megabytes. Phones work best below about 100 MB.
Do I need an account to use the tools?
No. Accounts are only for the storage plans.
Is there a mobile app?
The website works on any phone today. A dedicated app with document scanning is on the way.
